On average, an agency’s full-time staff dedicate their time to the following general activities: • Operations/Maintenance (46 percent of staff time) • Programming (30 percent) • Administration (17 percent) • Capital development (3 percent) • Other (4 percent) Thirty-nine percent of park and recreation agency professionals are covered by collective bargaining agreements.
